I have lived here all of my life and think this is possibly the worst state in the union. The greed and corruption, extremely high taxes on everything corrupted politics. If you are thinking of moving here think long and hard about it .It is the worst.

I have lived in every state for over 1 year and i think Illinois has the most to offer. In northern Illinois there is great nature with Lake Michigan and the revenes. There are plenty of job opportunities in Chicago which is the best city in the world. In the suburbs around Chicago it is the second most wealthy area in the world. If you have traveled through towns like Lake forest and Highland Park you will know what I am talking about. The suburbs have the #1 ranked school in education in the USA. If you do not want to live in the city or the suburbs about 25% of Illinois is the country. When you look on a map only the top right corner by the lake is city. The country has decent education but is a lot of fun. There is a ton of amazing nature like forest and prairies. In the very southern tip of Illinois there is a national Park Called Shawnee forest. I would say thats my favorite national park I have ever visited. All I can say is where ever you live in IL you will be happy.

I am looking for the name of the resturant in Illinois (Chicago) that is owned by Chef's Gale Gand and Rick Tramonto. I am a huge fan of Gale from her Sweet Dreams Bakery and will be visiting Chicago in the upcoming months and would like to visit her resturant. If you can supply me with this information, please reply.
