22nd February 2013 		According to the ATF and the FBI, the DC area has the lowest legal ownership of firearms in the country, just 0.1% of the population, compared to Kentucky, where over 48% of the population have firearms. Yet DC has more than double the gun deaths, and leads the nation.

California, with 9.8 deaths per 100K of pop. is the 4th lowest state in legal gun ownership at 1.8% of the population. so Cal. has 3728 gun deaths where KY, the highest gun ownership state in the country, has 574.

Get the guns away from the gangs and the hoods and leave the law abiding gun owners alone!
