DEFINITION: Deaths due to boating accidents where alcohol was a contributing factor. NOTES: Alcohol involvement in a boating accident includes any accident in which alcoholic beverages are consumed in the boat and the investigating official has determined that the operator was impaired or affected while operating the boat. Per capita figures expressed per 1 million population.
