This is the count of all American Indian / Alaska Native students enrolled in courses creditable toward a degree or other formal award; in courses that are part of a vocational or occupational program, including those enrolled in off-campus centers; and high school students taking regular college courses for credit. "American Indian / Alaska Native" refers to persons having origins in any of the original peoples of North America and who maintain cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition. |
