"White" refers to persons having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, North Africa, or the Middle East (except those of Hispanic origin). Per capita figures expressed per 100 population. The percentage of students that achieved a scale score in the subject of Science at or above the level of Basic.

Basic implies partial mastery of prerequisite knowledge and skills that are fundamental for proficient work at each grade.
