COMMENTARY

Prof Viswanathan
13th January 2011
The Weapons of Mass Destruction are produced by the governments irrespective of the economic system the countries follow. It may be 'Capitalistic or Socialistic Mode of Production' the countries travel in the same boat to produce the WMD.
What we now want is a New Economic Order based on ' Democratic Mode of Production'. In the Democratic Mode of Production 'Each Industry will be owned by all workers and All Industries will be owned by Each Worker'. In other words the 'National Capital' and 'Natural Resources' will be directly owned by the people in which neither capitalist government nor the Socialist government will interfere.
Since all industries are directly owned by the wormers they will not allow their capital to produce WMD to kill themselves.
If we want to live with nuclear bombs and ever threatening nuclear holocaust let's follow ‘capitalistic and socialistic modes of productions’ or if we want to live in peace in an Ideal society let's follow the ‘Democratic mode of production’- the ultimate solution for the survival of mankind.
