Encyclopedia > Warriors of Might and Magic

A less well known game in the Might and Magic universe, this game centers around the capture of a Soldier named Alleron, who is accused of being a necromancer. From there he is thrown into the Pit of the Accused with nothing but a bone club and a crawler sheild. If he survives, he is deemed innocent.

This game plays very similarly to Crusaders of Might and Magic, but with a decidedly more action feel.

While Warriors is a gorgeous looking in game in many respects and boasts an intriguing sense of atmosphere, the music and the mood are hampered by inane sound effects from an army of dumb acting and dumb-sounding monsters, and repetitive, mindless gameplay.
Warriors of Might and Magic hits the mark on a few cylinders, but its clumsy, redundant nature will put you to sleep, and for a videogame, which is by definition supposed to be "entertaining," that's not a good sign.

Released early last year, Warriors of Might and Magic was barely passable, appealing only to hardcore fans of the series.
Warriors featured a battle system with six types of magic, and the manual had a nice illustration to show how the magic types interacted.
