WCHS TV is the ABC affiliate for Charleston/Huntington West Virginia. The station was founded in 1954 originally as an affiliate for CBS. WCHS is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and shares it's news operations with FOX affiliate WVAH. One of the first televised presidential debates featuring John F.
