The Vox Ultrasonic or V268 was a mid-late sixties hollw body thinline electric guitar. Influenced by the Gibson thinline models such as the ES-335, but other than body shape was really very different. The Ultrasonic, (in fact all late sixties models) was manufactured for Vox by another guitar company Eko from Italy. Eston bass, fretless but with fretlike markers, 1980s Eko is an Italian make of acoustic guitars and similar instruments, catering to the advanced amateur level and manufacturing largely for export. ...
