Liberty Township is one of twenty-four civil townships in Trumbull County.
It is located on the southern edge of the county, and is formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve.
From Liberty Township is formed the city of Girard, although-- as is the case with other townships in the Western Reserve-- the city is not considered a part of the township.
