Vehicons are one of the many sub-groups of Transformers, appearing only in the animated cartoon series Beast Machines. Vehicons are in a way a homage to the original groups of Transformers; as they possess vehicle forms in comparison to the beast forms of Maximals and Predacons. The toy-line featured other types of Vehicon, such as Mirage (an experimental high-speed attack warrior), Scavengers (demolition drones), Spy Streak (aerial reconnaissance) and Blast Charge (all-terrain combat).
