Union County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. As of the 2000 census, the population was 40,909. Increasingly becoming more of a suburban county, the population was estimated at 46,702 in 2006 by the U.S. Census Bureau. Union County includes wide areas of farmland, but it is also the home of two major corporations: Honda of America and Scotts Miracle Gro Corp. Scotts' headquarters are located southeast of Marysville, near the intersection of Paris, Dover, and Millcreek Townships. Honda operates two major factories northwest of Marysville: the Marysville Auto Plant and the Marysville Motorcyle Plant.
