Mellowes were simply outclassed by Turloughmore in the first half, and they trailed by 2 - 6 to 0 - 4 at the break.
The game was highly competitive as Turloughmore tried to get back into the game, but it was O’Donovan and Lynskey who added further impetus to the Mellowes’ cause when they cut the deficit to five points.
