True was the third studio album by British New Romantic band Spandau Ballet, released in 1983. It was heavily influenced by jazz, soul, and R&B. It reached #1 on the UK charts and the top twenty in America. The title track was a top five single in America, and in 1991 was sampled by the spiritual hip-hop act PM Dawn on their single "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss", R&B music act Lloyd Polite "You (f.
