This album is often called a breakthrough album for Dokken as it was the first of the platinum trio of studio releases and the live album Beast from the East. This album was also the debut of bass guitarist Jeff Pilson who brought an even heavier sound to the band. Thus this album became Dokken's heaviest album with tracks like the title track really blazing through, even faster than a speed-metal song.
