Tong Ren Tang or 同仁堂 - since 1669

Tongrentang (TRT)


In 1669, the 8th year of Emperor Kangxi’s reign of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911AD), Tongrentang was established in Beijing by Mr. Yue Xianyang who served as a senior physician of the royal court of the Qing Dynasty. The credibility that Tongrentang has owes to a unique formula, meticulously selected medicinal herbs, fine craftsmanship, and marked effect.



In 1723, Tongrentang was appointed the sole supplier of medicinal herbs and herbal medicines to the royal court of the Qing Dynasty by Emperor Yongzheng.


In recent years, Tongrentang modernized its facilities to bring the R & D and production of TCM products to world-recognized standards.


Today, Tongrentang (TRT) is the oldest brand name for Traditional_Chinese_medicine in China. It is also a name most recognized by Chinese and Orientals worldwide and one of the largest TCM companies in the World with products exported to countries all over the world.
