Vortex is the latest Saturday morning programming block dedicated to animation. Unlike it's predacessors, The Vortex only airs on Saturday mornings. The Vortex is also a highly action based block, the shows that can be seen are Transformers: Energon, Battle B'Daman, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and many more animé-based programs. Occasionaly, YTV visits Anime North, an animé convetion in Toronto, Canada.
