As it turned common during the past decades, big budget movies are often released with several merchandise items, including official soundtracks. The OST for the 1999 blockbuster The Matrix included most of the tracks the movie popularized such as "Dragula" by Rob Zombie (remixed by Hot Rod Herman) or the lobby shootout music, actually called "Spybreak!", played by the british big beat duo Propellerheads. Some songs, however, were not played during the movie (Deftones' "My own Summer", Rammstein's "Du Hast"), or were just in the credits, like Rage Against the Machine's "Wake Up!" and Marilyn Manson's "Rock Is Dead".
