Australian films

Australian films have a reputation of returning the cost of the investment as well as some return in a large percentage of productions.[citation needed] The problem is that most Australian film budgets range from 2-7 Mil and so return is marginal in most cases. Where as Hollywood only gets a return on production in 1 film out of every 5 made, but the return to so high it makes the whole process workable. NSP have taken the two paradigms and devised a strategy of making low budget Australian films for an international market place, with the chance of very high returns. Distribution is the key ingredient in film making, first to all, the second being content. Distributors are contracted even before the film is made, but with their low budget strategy it is more attractive for Australian distributors are their return is assured due to lower selling plans.
