Characters Main Characters Maggie Pesky is a fly who resides in Stickyfeet with her family. With a dream of one day becoming a famous rock star, she never hesitates to play her double bass guitar and even bend the rules to make her dream a reality. She often gets herself into sticky situations, such as cheating on a school project, and she almost always brings her best gal pal, Rayna, down with her. Nevertheless, she has principles in which she strongly believes in, however, she sometimes crosses the line and breaks her principles. Maggie is also very kind and caring, but sometimes chooses to put herself first. Aldrin Pesky is Maggie's older brother. As the star jock in many sports, but mostly in football, he sometimes becomes vain and selfish. It appears that he is well-liked at school and is possible dating Dawn Swatworthy, one of Maggie's enemies. Aldrin enjoys torturing his younger siblings (of which he has three) by giving his brother, Pupert, wedgies, and constantly competing against Maggie. Aldrin works part-time at a local fast food restaurant called "Buzz Burger". His name is a reference to Buzz Aldrin, an astronaut. Look up Jock, jock in Wiktionary, the free dictionary. ...

Bella Pesky is the fourth and final child in the Pesky family. While still in the stage of a maggot, her admirering family consideres her an adorable joy to have. Although she is seldom far from her mother's watchful eye, she has many impressive talents such as juggling and breakdancing. However, she is unable to talk, but the voice in her head is that of a middle aged man, although she doesn't talk she seems to perceive herself as talking anyway. Chauncy Pesky, the father of Maggie and her siblings, believes in tough love when it comes to parenting. He has proved to be strict but understanding when it comes to his children's situations. He sometimes turns to his journal that he wrote as a kid to help relate to his children; but this is hard to do as the jorunal is out-dated and peppered with 1970s slang. The 1970s decade refers to the years from 1970 to 1979, also called The Seventies. ...
Frieda Pesky, the mother of Maggie and her siblings, often backs her husband up whe it comes to punishing her children. She appears to be the typical housewife who cooks, cleans, and watches the young Bella constantly. She enjoys shopping a great deal and her brother, Zeb, owns a bacteria ranch. Rayna Cartflight is Maggie's best friend. Although she strongly disapproves of most of Maggie's plans, often pointing out the flaws, she eventually helps Maggie complete the task. Sometimes she even offers alternative plans, but they are nearly impossible to complete. Rayna and Maggie rarely have fights, but when they do, they often patch things up quickly. She is a sassy fly who often points out the flaws in Maggie's plans, but goes along for the ride anyway.

This can be proven in the episode she first appears, where she makes up an entire lie about what a superior life she had in Beverley Gardens. However, Maggie unvails her lies in the end of the episode, and she becomes somewhat a normal kid, though she still remains the total snob she was to begin with. Details The show is animated in Macromedia Flash. Easter eggs include the episode "Le Termite", where there is a termite restaurant that serves a dish made of a miniature wooden model of the house in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. When the show's animators learned the series would not be renewed for another season, they incorporated an easter egg in the series finale episode, "Roach Hotel". The final shot of the show (and the series) ends with Maggie waving goodbye directly to the camera before the iris out. In the episode "The Usual Insects", after the alarm is tripped in the permanent record room, Maggie tells her friends to escape. Rayna tells her it can't be done, to which Maggie answers "Fly, you fools!". That is Gandalf's line after the Balrog broke the bridge in The Lord of the Rings. The second The Lord of the Rings reference is in "Rottingmuck Ranch", after Maggie and Aldrin accidentally destroy the "Favorite Hat" while fighting over it, Pubert uses the line "My precious", which is how Gollum frequently refers to the One Ring. Skye Sweetnam sings the theme song of the show "Just The Way I Am". The opening credits feature the town of Stickyfeet and it's residents being surprised by Maggie who flies about and ends up playing her guitar. The town is actually a human rubbish tip in a human city as well as a fly metropolis. // == Macromedia Flash == ==]] Using Macromedia Flash 8 (bundled in Studio 8) in Windows XP.
