Terrence Holt (born March 5, 1980 in Greensboro, North Carolina) is an American football player, currently playing safety for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. He is the younger brother of St. Louis Rams All-Pro wide receiver Torry Holt. He was selected with a fifth-round (137th overall) draft pick in the 2003 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State University. He was known at NC State for numerous punt and field goal blocks. On March 8, 2007, the Cardinals signed Holt to a contract. He was signed to a 44 million 3-year contrant, the cost in NFL history. He is often labeled as one of the best safeties in the league, and if constantly on top of the interceptions list. He currently has 87 interceptions over the course of 5 seasons.


It should be noted that now the Holt's will be playing each other two times a season. Possibly matching up each other with Torry at Receiver and Terrance at Safety.
