Tarzan II is a direct-to-video midquel to Tarzan (1999 film), telling the story of Tarzan's childhood. This movie is about young Tarzan's quest to find himself. On the way, he encounters a mysterious old monkey that might be able to help him and an ape family of two spoiled brothers and their selfish, greedy mother. Old favorites also star, like Terk (Tarzan's sister figure), Tantor (the germaphobic elephant), and Kala (Tarzan's protective, loving and caring adoptive mother ape). A midquel is a neologism for a story that is neither a sequel nor a prequel nor an interquel, but which describes previously-undescribed events taking place during the chronology of the original story. ...
