Southern Federal District (Russian: Ю́жный федера́льный о́круг; tr.: Yuzhny federalny okrug) is one of the seven federal districts of Russia. It is located in the extreme southwest, between Ukraine and Kazakhstan. It includes the Russian part of the Caucasus, the North Caucasus.
