One of the most influential performers in Australian comedy, one the creators and stars of Wogs Out of Work and Acropolis Now,and sought after stand up comedian and corporate speaker. His past appearances include the feature film Shooting Elizabeth opposite Jeff Goulblum, Stiff with David Wenham and as Salvador Dali in the stage play Hysteria. The Games (ABC) American series Ponderosa and as the “bastard husband” in the feature film La Spagnola. He has worked as a writer in Madrid for CANAL PLUS, Europe’s largest cable network where he studied at the drama school of the highly credited Juan Carlos Corazza sharing classes with Oscar award winner Javier Bardem. He wrote and directed the short film The Usual acclaimed at the St Kilda Film Festival. Wrote and performed an episode of Smallest Room in the House for ABC, directed a flamenco version of Lorca’s The House of Bernarda Alba at the Malthouse Theatre and, with George Kapiniaris, performed the New York comedy hit Gangster Apparel and was a director on Neighbours. Lately he has been touring the country cooking paella on stage in the hilarious Palomares Cooks Calamares and Who Let the Wogs Out. He has spoken extensibly on a range of subjects mainly in the area of cultural diversity and the look of Australian theatre, film, and television.
