The Salzburg Seminar is a non-profit organization that hold seminars on an economics, social issues, politics, and other issues of interest to future political, economic, and business leaders from around the world. Their purpose is to "challenge current and future leaders to develop creative ideas for solving global problems."
The seminars are held at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria. The organization was started after World War II by three Harvard University graduates who wanted to use the castle as a venue for bringing together European leaders to heal the rifts created by the war.
