Sacred Reich are a Phoenix based thrash metal band that formed in 1986. Singer/songwriter Phil Rind's interest was in socially-conscious and political speed metal. After several records on Metal Blade Records, they signed to Hollywood Records for a short stint, but later returned to Metal Blade to continue their musical career. The band split in 2000. Metal Millennium Album Reviews | Sacred Reich | Heal (372 words)
Sacred Reich hit the thrash scene in 1987 and had their fair share of great, hard-hitting albums.
This album, however, sounds like Sacred Reich are jamming out together and having a good time.
Phil's vocals aren't as powerful as on the early albums, but the drumming is pretty nice: many double-bass kicks spread through out, and the thrash assualt is unleashed like the Sacred Reich of old.

Unfortunately, I discovered Sacred Reich late in their career, about the time that "Independent" was released in 1995.
Sacred Reich play music in the Motorhead mode: Fast, furious, hard as hell and with a fiery, undeniable charisma.
Sacred Reich never strayed away from controversy, and there's political and other types of commentary here aplenty.
