Ronnie Day (born January 18, 1988) is an American singer-songwriter from Redwood City, California. To date, he has released one album titled Nine Sleepless Nights and his sophomore album titled The Album is currently in post-production, to be released in stores everywhere November 14, 2006. He used to be a part of a Dashboard Confessional clone band called Sounds Like Life, but that duo (with John from Secondhand Serenade) broke up in early 2005. "Day" is not Ronnie Day's real last name, but a stage name that he took in spite of a disdain for Howie Day. It has recently been reported that Ronnie Day has signed with Epic Records, which is affiliated with Sony and ironically the same label Howie Day is signed with.
