Robert Alan Arthuer's first contribution was as a producer in respect of Goodyear Televison Playhouse in 1951.


He is however, better known as a writer, with numerous screenwriting credits from the early 1950's onward.


Subsquent to his TV work, he directed The Lost Man(1969) a production n which also acted as writer.


He was also responsible for All That Jazz(1979) which he wrote, and until his death in 1978 acted as producer on. All That Jazz is a 1979 musical film and semi-autobiographical fantasy by and about Bob Fosse. ...
