Jesus of Cool was the solo debut album by British singer-songwriter Nick Lowe after leaving Brinsley Schwarz in 1974. Also produced by Lowe, it was released in March 1978 by Demon Records. In the United States, the album was released under the title Pure Pop for Now People, with one track, "Shake and Pop", deleted and the songs in a different order than the UK version. Now If I give up my day job to become a musician I may like to write music but If I were offered a million bucks for a record deal I'd take it in a heart beat cuz u know it ***ing sucks being poor.
