Psychotronics is a little-known study of the relationship between matter, energy, and consciousness.
The field is not recognized by mainstream science, and is in part populated by paranormal claims and supernatural theories (e.g. "remote seduction"). It is also related to claims by Julianne Mckinney (http://www.xs4all.nl/~sm4csi/nwo/MindControl/Microwave.Harassment.And.Mind-Control.Experimentation.htm) et al. that the United States has covertly developed psychotronic weapons for mass mind control that affect minds by altering the electrical signals of the brain with a direct energy 'microwave' beam.
The psychotron itself is a mind-probe device in the science-fiction novel Dreadful Sanctuary (ISBN 0749300736), written by Eric Frank Russell in 1948. Eric Frank Russell (January 6, 1905 - February 28, 1978) was an English science fiction author, producing some of the best humorous science fiction of his time. ...

Psychotronics, on the other hand, does not reject the technique of physical science, but considers it to be only one road to knowledge among many.
Psychotronics began to become an organized discipline in the West when the Society for Psychical Research was established in London in 1882 (Jane Oppenheim, 1986).
One might define the area of psychotronics as that domain of human inquiry which includes the study of all phenomena that are created by the direct interaction of the living force, vril, with the ether medium.
Although the Egyptians rediscovered and employed psychotronic technology, and their devices were later occasionally used -- albeit in complete ignorance of how they worked -- by Greek and Roman individuals, these later technologies paled in comparison to what the Atlanteans had achieved.
Coin psychotronics, although flirted with by a number of countries throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, really came of age in the 1970's in the US.
A number of countries in Europe adopted various incompatible forms of this psychotronic technology shortly thereafter, and the desire for a European mind control standard is the main impetus behind the introduction of the Euro.
