Prodromos Korkizoglou is Greece's most prominent decathlete. He was born in Larisa, Thessaly (February 27th, 1975) and competes for the Pelasgos Sports Club. He is the current holder of the decathlon national record (8,069 points) and his highest distinction was 1st place at the 2001 Mediterranean Games. He is 1.89 m and 79 kg.
