Distribution and Habitat

The Philippine warty pig is found in the islands of Luzon, Biliran, Mindoro, Mindanao and Polillo. It was once found in most habitats (from sea level to up to 2800 m) but are now confined in remote forests due to loss of habitat and heavy hunting by noose traps or trigger set bullets.
