In 1989 Paul Dean released his first solo album called Hard Core. The album is comprised of 9 tracks with songs co-written by other 80's artists such as Bryan Adams & Paul Stanley (of Kiss fame).


As of 2007 Paul Dean is still a member of Loverboy who are about to release a new album called Just Getting Started exclusively through Walmart stores. The album is currently available on itunes.
