Pat McMahon(born May 28, 1953) is the baseball coach for the Florida Gators. In his twelve seasons as a head coach, he has compiled a career record of 527-259-1. Prior to becoming the head coach of the Gators, he also served as the head coach of Old Dominion, and Mississippi State. He has appeared in two College World Series, in 1998, and 2005. In the 2005 College World Series, he led Florida to a national chamionship game, but ultimately lost to Augie Garrido, and the Texas Longhorns. He has made 4 Super Regional appearances in 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2005. He has compiled eight 40 win seasons, and 13 30 win seasons. He has received seven Coach of the Year awards.
