    Both sides failed to establish any fluency in their passing games during the first half but the better opportunities fell to Oxhey and Hinton keeper Hugh Clements - Jewery was forced to pull off a magnificent save at the feet of an Oxhey attacker with the goal at the attacker’s mercy.
    We have played Oxhey Jets 3 times now and this was the worst performance they have put in against us and we failed to capitalise on it.
    The first half was fairly evenly contested albeit Oxhey had the better of the chances but in the second half whilst we competed and our fitness wasn’t a significant factor we didn’t play football anywhere near the standard we are capable of.
