The Arena

The Civic Auditorium arena was home to the Creighton University Blue Jays men's basketball team, the University of Nebraska at Omaha ice hockey team and the Kansas City/Omaha Kings basketball team and currently is home to the Omaha Beef arena football team, as well as Creighton's women's basketball and volleyball teams. Starting in 2005 it'll also be the home arena of the new American Hockey League team Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. It currently seats up to 9,300 for sporting events and up to 10,960 for concerts. The Civic Auditorium exhibit hall features 43,400 square feet (4,000 m²) of space for conventions and trade shows.


Mancuso Hall

Mancuso Hall is a large-events venue used for parties, trade shows, concerts, banquets, and conventions, among other events. 25,000 square feet (2300 m²) of space, Mancuso Hall seats 2,500 for concerts and 1,500 for banquets.

The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League.
In 2005, the AHL franchise of the Calgary Flames (the Saint John Flames, which existed from 1993-2003) was reestablished in Omaha.
The Ak-Sar-Ben part of the team's name comes from the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben, an Omaha civic organization, whose logo is integrated into the insignia of the team and is a partner with the current organization.
