Norman Mack (Norm) Van Brocklin (March 15, 1926 - May 2, 1983) was an American football player and coach.


Van Brocklin played on two championship teams in the National Football League, the 1951 Los Angeles Rams and the 1960 Philadelphia Eagles. He served in the United States Navy from 1943 through 1945. In 1946 he enrolled at the University of Oregon.


Van Brocklin was selected in the fourth round of the 1949 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams. He led the NFL in passing three times and still holds the single-game record for most passing yards. On September 8, 1951, Van Brocklin threw for 554 yards, breaking Johnny Lujack's previous record of 468.
