Plagiarism by Competitor

In 1997, another best-selling romance writer, Janet Dailey, admitted to repeatedly plagiarizing from Robertson' work. The practice came to light after a reader read Roberts' Sweet Revenge and Dailey's Notorious back-to-back; she noticed several similarities and posted the comparable passages on the internet. Catalogue

Because so many of her books are re-issues of previous books, her publishers now include a circle logo with "NR" in it to indicate "first time in publication". Any book without the NR-logo has content which has appeared before. Below is a listing of her books in chronological order (alphabetically within year published). Books that are re-issues are not included, but "classic" titles which are re-published in compilations are included. Also included are the titles she has written under the pseudonym J. D. Robb.
