Nisswa is a city located in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,953.

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,953 people, 819 households, and 577 families residing in the city. The population density is 69.3/km˛ (179.5/mi˛). There are 1,532 housing units at an average density of 54.4/km˛ (140.8/mi˛). The racial makeup of the city is 98.87% White, 0.26% African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.15% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.10% from other races, and 0.41% from two or more races. 0.41% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
