She is a half-Ktarian and half-Human who was born to Ensign Samantha Wildman and her husband Greskrendtregk. Naomi was born after the USS Voyager became stranded in the Delta Quadrant; as her father was stationed at the time on Deep Space Nine, Naomi was raised by her mother, and was reunited with her father when Voyager returned home in 2377.
