Naadam (Наадам) is the national festival of Mongolia held from July 11 to 13. In celebration of the 1921 Mongol Revolution, horse racing, archery, wrestling and other sports are played. Naadam just menas "competition" in the language of the Mongolian. Competitions are held all over the country but the biggest takes place in Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital

The festival sometimes is called "Eriin Gurvan Naadam," meaning "men's three variety of games." The games are Mongolian wrestling, horse racing and archery, and are the only ones that are held throughout the country.
