The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies are a major junior hockey team of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The team is based out of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The team plays its home games at the Dave Keon Arena. Their franchise started out in the Ontario Hockey Association as the Montreal Junior Canadiens. They switched to the QMJHL in 1972. They moved to Verdun in 1982, and to Saint-Hyacinthe in 1989 (St-Hyacinthe Laser) and finally to Rouyn-Noranda in 1996. In Montreal, the team won three Memorial Cups: 1950, 1969 and 1970.
