Details

The Microsoft Student Partner Program is a worldwide initiative to sponsor students who are interested in technology. The program mainly focuses on improving students skills for employability, called Microsoft Student Partners (MSP). By the mid 20th century humans had achieved a mastery of technology sufficient to leave the surface of the Earth for the first time and explore space. ...



The program encourages MSPs to learn about the latest Microsoft technologies and to propagate that knowledge to the academic community in various engineering colleges in their city or locality. MSPs also organize various city-wide events to educate the masses about Microsoft Technologies. A Microsoft Student Partner is an undergraduate or postgraduate student, usually from engineering or business schools, who has a passion for technology and who actively, participates in sharing knowledge among the academic community.


Benefits

Microsoft does not offer a stipend to its student partners, although various software and hardware packages are commonly distributed for testing and promotional purposes. Student Partners are employees of Volt Services Group and as such are paid and employed by Volt. Student Partners are also given access to MSDN Premium Subscriptions free of cost to support their promotional activities. There are also cases where Microsoft invites its Student Partners for national conferences and events and for Interviews
