Megayanma (メガヤンマ?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Megayanma is famous for being the evolved form of Yanma, a Pokémon from a previous generation and for appearing in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Appearance

Megayanma resembles a dragonfly, but a more vicious one than Yanma. It looks very much like Yanma, and the main difference is the color. Megayanma is based on the Meganeura, an ancient dragonfly that grew to huge proportions. In the video-games

Megayanma evolves from Yanma by leveling up while it knows Ancientpower. According to the pokedex, Megayanma's ultrasonic waves coming from it's wings can cause lethal damage in the foes internal organs. This is possibly a reference to the Godzilla foe Megaguirus, which is also based on the Meganeura and has sonic wing attacks. If it had Speed Boost as a special ability(which increses speed every turn) as Yanma, it carries on. But if it had Compoundeyes (increses accuracy) as its special ability in Yanma form, then it becomes Colorglasses.
