Location of McKenzie Towne in Calgary

McKenzie Towne is a neighbourhood in the southeast corner of Calgary, Alberta built by Carma Developers LP. The community is bordered on the west by Deerfoot Trail and on the south by Highway 22X. McKenzie Towne was designed to reflect a small town, complete with small malls, town houses, quaint churches, and traditional architecture. The neighbourhood is divided into four distinct areas: Inverness, Elgin, Prestwick, and High Street. Each of the three residential areas of Mckenzie towne offer a different architectural style. Elgin features six styles of architecture designed to reflect Europe. English Cottage, Greek Revival, English Tudor, French Eclectic, Italianate, and English Arts & Crafts. Prestwick follows four styles: Queen Anne (Victorian), Georgian, Craftsman, and National. High Street is the commercial area.
