Pink Drums, Purple Lights is the eight track debut, featuring Bond’s signature singles "Cute Papa" (a song about her father, T.W. Bond, who is already signed to Business Deal) and "The Ghost Castle" (A little girl who disobeys her father, only to be eaten up by a beast).


In an interview for KEYE-TV, Bond explained that she wanted to create an album of her own after watching her father. Her father is a member of Count Dracula and his Weed Smugglin' Jam Engine, a band signed to the Business Deal Records label. According to the Houston Press, her songs "showcase the wondrous mind of a four-year-old – one that is scatological and delightfully morbid." [1] For example, in the song "The Ghost Castle" an off-key Bond is singing, while being accompanied by an organ backdrop. In other such songs, she is singing about teddy bears, pee, and poop. In 2004, Bond was signed to Ellahy Amen Records, a fairly new independent avant-garde label created by experimental musician and former Pigface member Leila Bela. Bond recently launched a tour with Bela and was written about in Newsweek Magazine alongside Smoosh, The Muldoons and the Tiny Masters of Today.
