The racial makeup of the county is 82.39% White, 14.25% Black or African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 1.44% from other races, and 1.25% from two or more races. 3.26% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
