She also had appeared in the many Brady Bunch reunion TV specials, with the exception of The Bradys in 1990, due to her pregnancy at the time. When not shooting, she also spent time with Florence's real-life family, and even got the chance to enjoy cooking with her. As an adolescent, Maureen's world was fallen apart when her co-star was beginning to suffer a series of losses: In 1984, Florence's real-life mother, Agnes, died, and McCormick was very saddened to hear about her co-star's mother's death. Eight years later in 1992, her beloved TV dad and Brady Bunch star, Robert Reed, died and she along with the cast attended Reed's funeral, and it was at this period McCormick was devastated, a second time. She along with Henderson, and the rest of the cast appeared on a special Weakest Link episode, in 2001, to raise money for charity. Though McCormick didn't win, she donated it, while Henderson won. Another tragic moment that occurred in McCormick's life, when in 2002, Florence's real-life husband, Dr. Kappas, passed away, and the relationship between Henderson & McCormick, strengthened, a third time.
