Maryland Route 956 is a connector route. It connects West Virginia Route 956 at the Potomac River crossing at Rocket Center, West Virginia to U.S. Highway 220 2700 feet west of the river. You can see the entire length of MD 956 standing on one end. It has no turns, but two bridges. One crossing the CSX Rail Road and one crossing the Potomac River. The speed limit on MD 956 is 30 mph. There is one turn off on the south side into an Industrial Park. The Potomac River flows into the Chesapeake Bay, located along the mid-Atlantic coast of the United States (USA). ...
