Martin Campbell (born October 24, 1944, Hastings) is a New Zealand film and television director. He directed the 1995 film GoldenEye, in which Pierce Brosnan made his first appearance as James Bond, and then Daniel Craig as a new Bond in for 2006's Casino Royale. He also directed the two recent Zorro films, The Mask of Zorro (1998) and The Legend of Zorro (2005), both starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Martin was raised in Newark, New Jersey by parents who encouraged her love for music.
As a child, she could be found competing in, and winning, many singing competitions, going on to appear in such children's programs as Big Blue Marble, Kids Are People Too and Captain Kangaroo.
